The inn is on a 600-acre plantation lined with majestic 250-year old live oaks and surrounded by rice fields, marshes, and ponds, 25 miles from Myrtle Beach, and 75 miles from Charleston. Guests have access to a private oceanfront beach house on Pawleys Island; use of umbrellas, beach towels, and beach chairs is complimentary. A small outdoor freeform pool and sundeck overlook a lush green expanse of rice fields. Guests have private beach access, use of a beach house on Pawleys Island, and complimentary use of umbrellas, towels, and beach chairs. Other amenities include two tennis courts and a private freshwater marina linked to the Intracoastal Waterway. Daily moorage of guests’ boats (up to 38 feet) is available (space permitting). Bird watching is popular in the area, and guests can see egrets, hawks, herons, ospreys, and sandpipers in flight.
