What to expect: The 12-story beaux-arts hotel, opened in 1904, has restored many of the building's original details, with moldings and grille-work in the soft yellow hallways. An adjacent building, designed by renowned architect David Rockwell, opened in 2005.Amenity highlights: The focal point of the lobby is a three-story waterfall backlit with shimmering fiber-optic lighting and floodlights at its base.
