The restaurant, which is open for dinner MondaySaturday, serves creative Frenchinspired cuisine with local ingredients such as Whole Roasted Dover Sole and Seared Maine Venison Salad,” and features a noteworthy wine list.
• Julien Bar The Julien Bar, formerly the Governor’s reception room of the Federal Reserve Bank, has been fully restored to display the building’s original moldings, touchiers, and coffered, goldleaf ceiling. Live piano music and a sweeping, octagonal bar add to the ambiance. Open from evening until late night, the bar offers an array of 101 martinis.
• Café Fleuri This expansive dining area, designed to resemble a French sidewalk café, is bathed in natural light from a sixstory atrium. Mediterraneanstyle cuisine is served for breakfast and lunch on weekdays, while an indulgent “chocolate bar” buffet draws crowds on Saturday afternoons. An eightstation buffet brunch is served on Sundays.

The Langham’s 326 guestrooms, which were refurbished in 2001 with new mattresses and duvets, come in various shapes and sizes that reveal the building’s historic origins. Some rooms have 16-foot-high ceilings, some dramatically slanted windows; others have spectacular city or park views. Classic furnishings with soft curves, gild-framed mirrors, and a color palette of cream, burgundy, and olive create an inviting ambiance.
