Architectural artifacts from the historic building are mounted in shelves next to books, and framed posters tell the story of the building's past, renovation, and present. A hand-painted, two-story mural recalls the romance of Chicago's 1893 Columbian Exposition. Thick mahogany columns soar dramatically, and in front of iron-gated elevators is a re-creation of the original mosaic-marble floor.Amenity highlights: Each morning, the hotel offers complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby. A complimentary wine reception from 5–6 PM is crowded with business travelers ending a workday and theater-goers on their way out. Guests can customize their comfort with a pillow library, offering 10 options including buckwheat, full body, and neckbrace pillows.
