• Naniwa Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar Intimate and stylish Japanese restaurant and sushi bar, located behind a low dividing wall at one end of Shells Restaurant. Dinner only; reservaitons recommended.
• Shells Steak & Seafood Restaurant Sweeping ocean view. Serves buffet breakfasts daily (as well as an à la carte menu) and seafood buffets on Friday nights. Other nights, specialties include local seafood, steaks, and prime rib. Children 12 years and younger dine free (one child per adult, maximum of two children per table). Dinner reservations recommended.
• Amore Ristorante Italiano Located at one end of Shells, this romantic spot serves traditional Italian cuisine such as pasta, prosciutto, pork, veal, lasagna, and lobster ravioli. Fine ocean views. Open nightly for dinner. Reservations recommended.
  
• The Point Casual restaurant with long bar, couch seating, a pool table, and television sets tuned to sports. Next to an outside terrace, a cook grills burgers and fish. Live music and dancing several nights per week. Casual menu served from late morning to midnight. Seating either inside or on the terrace.
• Oasis Bar & Grill Poolside spot serving burgers, fish sandwiches, salads, snacks, smoothies, and tropical cocktails during the day.
  

Property amenities

A resort fee added to room charges covers amenities such as shuttle service within the Poipu Beach resort area, parking, and a sunset mai tai party with torch-lighting ceremony and Hawaiian music. For children ages 5–12, the Keiki Aloha Club offers activities four days a week, with morning and afternoon sessions available.
The resort offers three tennis courts, a large fitness center with an ocean view, a massage/facial center, and a library with four computers with high-speed Internet access. The concierge desk in the lobby books golf times, luaus, and helicopter sightseeing trips to North Kauai's spectacular coast and arranges other activities.
