What to expect: As with many of the Atlanta airport hotels, the weekday business crowd gives way to the weekend leisure crowd, and this hotel is prepared for both. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available throughout the hotel, including meeting rooms and the lobby, and for a daily surcharge in all guestrooms (hotel does not supply cards). More casual travelers can enjoy the sports theme that runs throughout the hotel, from autographed pictures of athletes in the fitness center to the NASCAR-themed bar in the lower lobby.Amenity highlights: While most hotels are content to throw a treadmill in a mirrored room and call it a fitness center, this hotel does it right with more than 4,000 square feet filled with state-of-the-art fitness equipment and free weights. Aerobics classes and personal trainers are available at the gym, which even sells local memberships. Guests can take their pick of indoor or outdoor pools, or play a little tennis on the lighted court.
Insider tip: Flying Delta? This is the place to stay. A full-service Delta ticket window enables guests to check in and obtain a boarding pass even before leaving for the airport. Bags can't be checked from the hotel, but assigned seats can be arranged. Once guests take the 24-hour shuttle to the terminal, a curbside skycap can handle the bags from there.
