The reception desks are designed to replicate those used by tellers when this building was a bank. In the original 19th-century Banking Hall, each chandelier includes 8,000 pieces of Egyptian crystal, and intricate ornamental features cover the walls and ceiling. The Westin Dublin has163 guestrooms, all of which include the Westin Heavenly Bed, which consists of a foot-thick pillowtop mattress with all-white bedding; triple sheeting; down blanket, comforter and duvet; and five pillows (two goose down/feather, two hypo-allergenic, and a decorative neck roll pillow). The television sits in a mahogany unit, with VCR and complimentary premium channels. Rooms have minibars, fax machines, and ceiling fans. Bathrooms are decorated in Spanish marble and there are three telephones in each guestroom, with dial-up Internet access (surcharge) via the TV or dual phone socket.
